The model is ready. Check the circuit then start the test.

The plan scrolls horizontally and vertically. Recirculations can be drawn; open their connection before the single-pass test.

Test model and limits

Single pass calculation: Qoutput = min(Qinput, capacity), then distribution between the branches. Accumulation: dV/dt = (Qinput − Qoutput)/3600. Levels start at 35%. The final basin is a drained product. The pressure losses use Darcy–Weisbach with friction factor set at 0.025; a speed greater than 3 m/s triggers an educational alert. A pump compares the loss of its line to its HMT.

The pH is that of neutral water (7) and the temperature follows the source. The reagents and minerals document the scenario and its blending; they do not react in this test without energy. In pyro, the colors represent virtual tracers, never an instruction to introduce water into an oven. Solid capacities are project data, separate from the hydraulic capacities used in the test.

Understand: Building and testing a flowsheet

Connect equipment, connections, capacities and instrumentation of a circuit.

A flowsheet represents the operations and flows of a process. The material balance must remain consistent at each node; insufficient capacity can limit an output and cause accumulation.
